As part of the Extraordinary Music Workshop in 2017 we organized the Extraordinary Music Festival: a series of five concerts with an excellent line-up, filling the gap for a festival of sacred music that would closely link early compositions with their natural, prayerful and liturgical context.
The main hallmark of the Extraordinary Music Festival programme is the desire to bring together currents of sacred music that are often very distant from one another in style and history. This time the common denominator is the veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary, illustrated by concerts that differ in style but are equally excellent musically. The Festival is open and free of charge not only for Workshop participants, but for everyone who wishes to come.
